Cafe al Bacio and Gelateria

The kid's club ends it's regular hours at 10pm so we went to pick up Sweet Pea.  We stopped by Café al Bacio for some tea and treats before bed.  This is one place where we never had a any problem with service.  The drinks were great.  The treats were good.  The staff was attentive and pleasant, despite the fact that this location was almost always busy.

I ordered a pot of Decaf English Breakfast tea, which was excellent.

Sweet Pea ordered spaghetti gelato ($7 upcharge) from the Gelateria, which is ice cream that has been pressed through a grinder to form spaghetti-like strands.  It is usually topped with strawberry sauce to make it look more pasta like, but Sweet Pea wanted it plain.

Spaghetti gelato must not be ordered very often because it required three employees to figure out how to run the machine.  It fun and delicious.  :)
